Butchers bark is a company that has grown from the needs of our long established customers. We are a family of fine meat purveyors for almost 100 years. Our family has owned managed and scaled USDA approved facilities in the fine meat business for decades. Our hard work and dedication to detail and quality has served us well in all our endeavors. As the years passed we were constantly asked from our end customers if we had any “ scraps or doggie bag “ for our canine family member. Most times we would put something together that made sense quality wise and price for our customers.

We always knew the marketplace needed a high end raw meat dog food product. That day finally came when we sat down with some of our third generation college educated children who were full of zest and excitement for the idea. We formulated a mix of meats and products that met or exceeded most veterinary requirements for our pet family members.

I would like to say we are still researching blends for perfection but we must insist this has already taken place over the last 20 years with our customers.  Our marketplace was already build in because a lot of our end users had already been sold on our unique blend.
